Chicke Gaze, Oil painting

With this series, I completed my studies in oil painting at the Academy of Art in Lier, Belgium. Chicken Gaze emphasizes that moment when this little animal gives you a look and in that moment it seems like everything stops, time and space, and only a few seconds of total emptiness remain, where the mind falls silent. That is why in my paintings, I emphasize the eyes, making them bigger, but not too much to take away from the naturalness of the gaze.
